Lori Burnstine, a Miami native, experienced snow for the first time at age 7 while on vacation with her family in Aspen, Colorado. Lori had an immediate passion for the mountains and all they had to offer. On one of her annual spring vacations to Aspen, she innocently informed her parents, "I want to live here!"

Lori attended the University of Maryland where she studied Radio, Television and Film. She spent the spring semester of her junior year participating in The University of Pittsburgh's Semester at Sea program. The incomparable experience of visiting 10 ports around the world left an indelible impression on Lori's objectives and goals, (both personal and professional), instilling a strong desire to affect positive change in her world. As a result, upon completion of her Bachelors Degree, she returned to Florida and attended the University of Miami where she received her Masters Degree in Elementary Education.

After teaching for 5 years, in the fall of 1999, Lori picked up and finally followed that 7-year old girl's itch to move to Aspen. For five years, Lori worked at The Aspen Club and Spa. Successfully contributing her skills in guest services, she quickly moved in to the Sales and Marketing Department and served as the club's Group Sales Manager as well as a Membership Sales Advisor.

Frequent inquiries for Aspen accommodations by family, friends and acquaintances made it obvious to Lori that her next career challenge would naturally be real estate. Anxious for the change, Lori obtained her real estate license and is now actively helping people find a place to call "home" in the Roaring Fork Valley.

Active in the local community, Lori participates on the steering committee for the Aspen Art Museum's Young Contemporaries, is a member of the Aspen Young Professionals Association, and has recently become involved with the special events and fundraising for Aspen Youth Experience, an organization for 'at risk' teens. In her spare time, Lori enjoys anything that involves the outdoors - skiing, hiking, biking, or just walking around town with a smile on her face.
