Craig grew up in Aspen, having first moved here in 1956. His knowledge of the back streets and the many hidden places now helps him perform for his real estate clients. Since 1987 when he became a full-time real estate broker, Craig has been focused on his buyers and sellers, passionate about every detail in a transaction, and extremely knowledgeable about the Aspen/Snowmass market.

Craig's positive and vibrant outlook is a result of nine years on the US Ski Team, from 1975-1984. He captained the US Nordic Ski Team for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, and was selected for the 6 man Cross Country World Championship Team in 1978 and 1982 in Lahti, Finland and Oslo, Norway, respectively. His best international finish was 12th place in the pre-Olympics in Sarajevo in 1983. Craig's staying power, ability to "get the deal done," and persistence to represent his clients in tough negotiations stems from his athletic background that has taught him well.

In 2002 Craig received the Greg Mace Award, which is given to the community's top volunteer. He has served on the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Board of Directors, member of the Aspen Rotary Club, and currently serves as the President of the Alfred Braun Hut System. He co-chairs the newly formed Realtors for Wilderness committee of the Aspen Board of Realtors. Craig has served on the Scholarship Committee and headed the Professional Standards Committee of the ABOR.

Craig shares his home in the Five Trees subdivision of Aspen with his wife Becky and son Michael.

He continues to actively coach young, cross country skiers and ski jumpers!
